Last day to grab the early bird Yoga in the Park Summes Series Class Pass

Hey Reader!

It’s the last day to get the Yoga in the Park Summer Series Class Pass for $47. We have gotten a lot of questions and I want to make sure you have the answers.

Here is what I bet you are thinking…

Question: Why is Yoga in the Park costing money this year?

Answer: I get it, this class has been free and volunteer-led for the past 6 years, why now. The short of the answer is, I’m back to teaching regular group classes at the studio and we offer Saturday classes that members currently are paying for.

In my experience, when you invest in yourself monetarily, you commit on a higher level to yourself. What this means in yoga is that when you invest with money into yourself, you commit to your transformation… this is your time, your time for change.

And when teachers are compensated for their time, they generally produce a more fulfilling class for students. Yoga isn’t just about moving through a series of shapes with your body, but instead about experiencing life in a different way because of what you do on the yoga mat. And although yoga is a very personal journey, when we practice in community, we also receive the energy and support of others on a similar journey, which elevates our experience and propels it forward sometimes quicker than when practicing solo.

Question: But what if it rains, will class be rescheduled, canceled or moved indoors?

Answer: I’ve had this same thought, and my best advice is DON’T WAIT.

Even if you attend just 2 classes this summer, you’ve nearly made your money back with the Yoga in the Park Summer Series Class Pass. We can’t plan on the weather, and depending on how many are actually signed up for a particular class, we may move class indoors or we may cancel. The beautiful thing is, we have the option!

I’ve watched students say they’re going to attend class or that they really want to, but… life gets away from them and they end up letting another summer go by without actually coming out to class.

If you want transformation to happen in your life, you have to create the space for it to happen, rain or shine. Even if class is canceled, it’s an opportunity for growth and adaptability, which in my book equals transformation.

Instead of staying at home thinking about what you “should” be doing or filling your schedule with other things that aren’t essential to your Health Harmony Happiness Journey while others are out there making the life changes to get there, get your Yoga in the Park Summer Class Series Pass using the code YOGAINPARK24.

Question: Will class be held at the same location each week and how will I know if it’s not?

Answer: I have you 100% covered.

Not necessarily. We no longer have access to the Sundance Realty Courtyard we’ve used in the past, but luckily we have some beautiful space around town and in Marion County that can accommodate us and give you a peaceful start to your weekend.

After you purchase the Summer Class Series Pass, you’ll be given an opportunity to register for each class you want to attend. You can register for all of them right away or you can register for them over the course of the summer as your schedule permits.

It is, however, super important that you do register for them so you receive communication from us as to where class will be held each week.

It will likely also be posted in the Facebook event, but I’m not relying on Facebook as heavily as I have in the past for communication.

You can also sign up for text reminders by texting: @YogaLawn to 81010

Question: Whats included?

Answer: So glad you asked…

Reader, when it comes to finding peace within, we can sometimes get distracted with the wrong things.🙃 At the end of the day no matter how much decluttering, space clearing, cleaning, organizing, and laundry you do, you're likely still not going to have inner peace unless you do a little bit more. And by doing a little bit more, I don't mean another load of laundry, or tidying up, or physically pulling the weeds that are growing in your garden. I mean, metaphorically pulling the weeds that...

I know, life has you running all over the place picking up and depositing kids, watching their practices or events, then finding yourself exhausted and feeling unfulfilled because in the race of the day it feels like you're only doing things for other people, even though you did get a quick workout in earlier in the day. That workout was probably "great" and even made you feel invigorated and ready to go for the day. But I'm wondering, Reader, if you paused at all in the day and connected...

Hey Reader, I shared this recently on Facebook and thought it might benefit you as well. Come along with me on a journey as I share my story of growth in my marriage with you... “He does his thing and I do mine; we share responsibility with taking care of the kids and making sure they get where they need to be, but we're pretty much just ships passing in the night. He doesn't even ask how my day was when he gets home; sometimes I wonder if we even have anything but our kids in common...
